Associate of 'Makandure Madush' arrested with heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested a 43-year-old man linked to notorious slain underworld don Makandure Madush, from Mulleriyawa.

4.68 grams of heroin was seized from the possession of the suspect, said Police.

According to Sri Lanka Police, the suspect is facing charges of rape, intimidation with weapons, extortion, weapons possession, heroin charges, and arson.

Police said that a detention order will be obtained to detain and interrogate the suspect.
