2022 Novices Weightlifting Championships concludes

COLOMBO (News 1st); The 2022 National Novices Weigh-lifting Championship successfully concluded at Poddiwela national School on Sunday (13).

Galgamuwa Sports Club won the under 17 boys Championship while the overall event was held for 3 days with the participation of nearly 200 athletes.

Furthermore, Sevanapitiya maha Vidyalaya, Polonnaruwa won the girl's title.

Moreover, the Galgamuwa Sports Club won the under 20 categories while Galle Sports Club and Kegalle Sports Club emerged joint- champions in the girl's category.

In the meantime, the 'UNDER THE BAR' sports club in Kandy won the Senior men's title while the University of Jaffna won the Senior women's title.
