Five men arrested for heroin possession from Colombo & Anuradhapura

COLOMBO (News 1st); Five men were arrested for the possession of heroin from different parts of Sri Lanka on Saturday (12), said Sri Lanka Police.
A 38-year-old man from Grandpass was arrested for the possession of 6.1 g of heroin.
He was arrested close to the Peliyagoda Fish Market by police officers attached to the Peliyagoda Police.
A 28-year-old man from Kandy was arrested for the possession of 6.1 g of heroin.
He was arrested at the Anuradhapura Town by officers attached to the Anuradhapura Anti Corruption Unit.
A 26-year-old man from Angulana was arrested for the
possession
of 5.5 g of heroin.
He was arrested close to the Ananda Bodhi Temple in Angulana.
A 40-year-old man from Anuradhapura was arrested for the possession of 5.96 g of heroin.
He was arrested in Vijayapura, Anuradhapura by officers attached to the Anuradhapura Anti Corruption Unit.
A 48-year-old man from Borella was arrested for the possession of 6 g of heroin.
He was arrested in Cader-nana Watte by the Borella Police.
