COLOMBO (News 1st); There will be no hike in bus fare for 2022 despite a fuel price increase, said State Minister Dilum Amunugama.

Speaking to News 1st, the State Minister said an agreement was reached with bus owners on the matter.

He said bus fares are often reviewed in June every year, however, a price hike will only be considered if fuel prices increase to an unreasonable level.
