Foreign Minister G. L. Peiris off to India during weekend on official visit

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister (Prof) G. L. Peiris will undertake an official visit to India on the 6th, 7th, & 8th of February.

The matters that would be discussed during the meeting remain unclear.

Last month, India's external affairs minister S. Jaishankar tweeted that he had agreed to remain in close touch with his Sri Lankan counterpart.
