COLOMBO (News 1st): The Police Special Task Force has arrested one person in the Mahawatte Road area in Grandpass, for the possession of 04 kilograms of Hashish valued over Rs. 4 million.

According to the Police STF, the suspect is a 34-year-old person.

The stock of Hashish was found concealed in a secret bunker at the suspect’s residence.

Police also seized an electronic scale and two mobile phones from the suspect’s possession in addition to the stock of narcotics.

The suspect and the seized narcotics have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
