Dry spell affects Hydro-Power Generation

COLOMBO (News 1st); Hydro-Power generation has dropped considerably due to arid weather conditions in Sri Lanka, adding more concerns to the country's power crisis.

Department of Meteorology said dry weather conditions are expected to last until April 2022.

Weather conditions across the island will very dry by March as temperatures are expected to soar, said the Director General of the Department of Meteorology.
