System to allow funds to flow in, the need of the hour: MP Jagath Kumara

COLOMBO (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Jagath Kumara says a system to allow money to flow into the country is necessary at the moment.

Against the backdrop of an economic crisis in the country, we need dollars, aid and loans, stated that MP Jagath Kumara, adding that the only institute willing to provide a loan facility to Sri Lanka is the IMF.

Pointing out that the country is currently struggling to repay around 11 billion in debt, the MP stated that the Government should think about the country and its people and reach an agreement to solve the economic crisis.
