Pugoda OIC assaulted during arrest

COLOMBO (News 1st); Five people have been arrested for assaulting the Pugoda OIC.

Police stated that a group of officers, including the OIC were attemping to arrest a warrant holder in the Pugoda Palana area, when the attack took place.

At that time, the suspects involved in the drug charges had hit the OIC with a stick, injured his head and have fled.
