COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Power, Gamini Lokuge states that steps have been taken to obtain fuel from the Lanka IOC and to purchase electricity from private power plants in order to resolve the ongoing power crisis in the country.
Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has provided 10,000 metric tons of Diesel to the Ceylon Electricity Board, and therefore, the Minister stated, there will be no power cuts in the recent future.
