Govt to support Mung Bean cultivation

COLOMBO (News 1st) ; The Government has decided to introduce Mung bean cultivation as an alternative to farmers in lands which are unsuitable to cultivate paddy in.

The President has reached the decision in consideration of the observations made at the Agriculture Development Authority during a recent inspection visit.
