COLOMBO (News 1st); An anarchic situation has been created in the country, states Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Leader, Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Speaking at an event recently, the JVP Parliamentarian pointed out that the risk of power cuts have become a big issue, especially with the hardships faced in providing Diesel to power plants such as Kelanitissa, which puts the country constantly at a risk of a power outage.

In the midst of this, he said that there is also the risk of gas cylinder explosions in kitchens and the alternative people face is the commodity price hike in the country.

Moreover, many educated children are also facing difficulties in obtaining a job, he stated, adding that almost all economic hardships a country could face, have already taken place.

"We are experiencing the consequences of an economic policy which was observed by the nation for a long time " he added.

Furthermore, the JVP Leader stated that the anarchic situation has also been created due to the fact that no party takes responsibility for their actions.

Citing the tug-of-war between the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Power, Dissanayake stated that both are alternatively alleging that either CPC or the CEB are at fault, as if they come from two countries instead of representing one Cabinet.
