All connected to hand grenade case will be arrested: IGP

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Inspector General of Police, C.D. Wickramaratne says that all people connected to the discovery of a hand grenade at All Saints Church premises in Borella will be arrested. 

Furthermore, the Colombo Crimes Division has recorded statements from 14 persons so far over the incident.

The IGP added that all suspects arrested will be brought before the law once the investigations conclude. 

The investigation will continue with the assistance of the experts, and the motive, including the context and background of the suspects will be investigated, the IGP stated.
