Parents can receive booster at school vaccination centres

COLOMBO (News 1st): The booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to adults at vaccination centres set up in schools to administer the COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 12 to 15-years, the Ministry of Health said.  Director of the Health Promotion Bureau, Dr. Ranjith Batuwanthudawa said parents, school van drivers, and other adults can visit the school vaccination centres to receive the booster shot. The Epidemiology Unit has issued the relevant instructions to all vaccination centres, Dr. Batuwanthudawa said.
