Gas Queues : NO practical mechanism for distribution

COLOMBO (News 1st); Many Sri Lankans are still forced to stay in line since dawn for an opportunity to secure a domestic LP gas cylinder.

Locals allege the absence of a proper practical mechanism for the distribution of gas as the core reason for this issue.

People were seen waiting in line since early morning in Matara, Kosgoda, Rathgama, and several other areas.

In most areas, Sri Lanka Police was also seen engaged in the distribution process.
