ASPI climbs higher for fifth consecutive day

COLOMBO (News 1st); The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange hit another record high for the fifth consecutive day on Friday (07).

Previously, the ASPI recorded an all-time high on 06th January, at 13,195.52 points. 

The CSE closed with an ASPI of 13,280.94 points on Friday (07), and gained 111.54  basis points during the day's trading, surpassing the 13,200 mark.

Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 Index ended the day 53.55 basis points lower at 4,568.64.

The turnover for the day was recorded at Rs. 11.64 billion.
