All three doses mandatory on vaccine card: Keheliya

COLOMBO (News 1st): The booster dose will also be made mandatory to be marked on the vaccine card, for those who are entering public places, says Minister of Health, Keheliya Rambukwella. 

Speaking to News 1st, the Minister of Health stated that the vaccination drive for schools will begin soon, and children who obtain the first dose of the vaccine will be made eligible for the second dose within three months, after which the booster dose will be considered. 

Moreover, the Minister emphasized that the definition of being fully vaccinated in the future will be altered to those who have obtained all three vaccine doses, and not only two.
