COLOMBO (News 1st): The two children who were reported missing from Wattemulla, Kotadeniyawa have been found.

A woman had accompanied the two children and handed them over to the Meerigama Police, Police Spokesperson Attorney-at-Law SSP Nihal Thalduwa said on Thursday (Jan. 6).

The two children will be handed over to the Kotadeniyawa Police for further investigations.

The children were reported missing since the 23rd of November.

“The Homicide and Organized Crimes Investigations Bureau of the Criminal Investigations Department and the Kotadeniyawa Police are conducting further investigations with regard to the whereabouts of the boys during the time they were missing and how they went missing,” SSP Nihal Thalduwa added.
