'Wise Woman' program launched on Tuesday (04)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The ‘Wise Woman’ National Programme was launched at the BMICH in Colombo on Tuesday (05).

The event was held under the auspices of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, and was launched with the intention of empowering women to the full potential and get their contribution to the economy.

Prof. Neelika Malavige, Dr. Asha Devos, Kasthuri Wilson, Nipuni Karunaratne, Melanie Wagaarachchi, Pavithra Gunaratne, Rangana Weerawardena, Ayanthi Gunasekara, Nelka Shiromala and Thilanka Abeywardena were awarded as outstanding women by the Head of State during the event.

Several Ministers, ambassadors and state sector officials were also in attendance.
