Dehiwala beach-goer dead in crocodile attack

COLOMBO (News 1st);  A man who was swimming in the seas off Dehiwala has died following an attack by a crocodile, said Sri Lanka Police.

Dr. Rukshan Bellana, the Director of the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital said that the deceased was identified as a 57-year-old male.

Police said the incident took place when the crocodile attempted to draw away the man who was swimming in the sea.
