Country can only move forward if all public servants fulfill responsibilities: Duminda Dissanayake

COLOMBO (News 1st); State Minister Duminda Dissanayake states that the country can only move forward if all public servants fulfill their responsibilities.

Addressing state officials at the Divisional Coordinating Committee of the Mihintale Divisional Secretariat in Anuradhapura, the State Minister said that many are of different opinions, such as some stating that imports should be increased while others say that exports should be increased. 

Pointing out that the issue had grown to a competition between the Ministries, the State Minister said that it had become almost impossible to give people things that make them happy and to give anything away freely. 

Emphasizing that the Government was formulated with several objectives in mind, the State Minister said that all public servants must not think negatively, and should fulfill their responsibility individually to take the country to a higher place.
