Public funds not in President's pocket: Lands Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Lands, S.M. Chandrasena says that although the country has run out of dollars, neither President Gotabaya Rajapaksa nor the Cabinet Ministers are in possession of the country's funds.

Speaking during an event held on Saturday (25), the Minister stated that the public and the Government need to face the current economic situation, as there is no alternative.

"There will be no drought, the spring is coming in 2022," he added.
