Home cooked meals for inmates for Xmas

COLOMBO (News 1st); Relatives of prison inmates have been given the opportunity to give out food parcels to inmates for Christmas.

The Prison Media Spokesperson, Chandana Ekanayake stated that the opportunity will be given until Sunday (26) for relatives to handover the relevant food parcels.

Moreover, Rs. 2,500 can also be deposited at the prison canteen for prisoners to have access to other food items such as milk powder, sugar, sweets meats, and hygiene care items.

The Prison Spokesperson also said that religious programs would be held for Christmas in accordance with health guidelines.
