SJB stages torchlight protest against fuel & commodity prices

COLOMBO (News 1st); Activists of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya in Panadura staged a torchlight procession in front of the Walana Buddha statue in Panadura against fuel and commodity prices on Friday (24).

The protest was led by the Panadura electorate organizer of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, Deepthi Abeywickrama.

Protesters gathered in front of the Walana Buddha statue in Panadura, and marched on to Galle Road with placards.
