COLOMBO (News 1st); Gas-related accidents continue to take place in various parts of the country.
A similar incident resulted in a poultry farm going up in flames and also killing 3000 chickens.
The gas-related accident was reported at 3 AM on Friday (24) at a 17-acre poultry farm in Pallegama.
According to reports, three gas cylinders are being used for Brooding Temperatures for Poultry Flocks at the farm.
One of these cylinders had exploded on Friday (24) morning and the inferno killed 3000 chickens.
The farm building was destroyed as well.
