11 districts designated with 'high risk' of Dengue

COLOMBO (News 1st); Eleven districts have been designated as districts with a 'high risk' of Dengue.

Shilanthi Seneviratne, Community Medicine Specialist of the National Dengue Control Unit stated that 31,198 dengue patients were found in the country during the past year.

About 60% of these cases were reported from the Western Province, she said.
