COLOMBO (News 1st); Police Special Task Force Personnel attached to the Horana STF Camp arrested a 42-year-old man for the illegal possession of ammunition.

315 bullets used for a 9mm pistol, 3 revolver bullets, 12 bullets used for a T-56 assault rifle, 2 sniper bullets, and 3 bullets used with a 12-bore shotgun, were discovered from the possession of the suspect.

Police said the suspect was arrested in Kalutara based on intelligence received from sleuths, and he was handed over to the Thebuwana Police for Investigations.
