COLOMBO (News 1st); The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) says that it has decided to file a case against two gas companies.
Its Chairman, retired Major General Shantha Dissanayake, said that the CAA will take legal action against those who violated the Consumer Affairs Act, including those who released unsafe products to the market.
The Consumer Affairs Authority further stated that the relevant legal action is being carried out by the Legal Division of the CAA.
He added that the relevant case will be filed next week.
