Train Engine Drivers & Guards on Strike; Railways operations come to halt

COLOMBO (News 1st); Train Operations have come to a complete standstill as a result of a strike action launched by train engine drivers and guards.
General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways Dhammika Jayasundara told News 1st that discussions will take place immediately to solve the issues.
He said none of the trains are operating at the moment, due to the strike.
