COLOMBO (News 1st); A Fisherman who was set out to the sea for fishing had died after drowning in the sea in Ambalangoda.

The News 1st Correspondent stated that three persons set out to fish from the Ambalangoda fishing harbor, and one person had fallen into the sea.

Subsequently, the other 2 fishermen had rescued the fisherman who fell into the sea and admitted him to the Balapitiya Base Hospital, who passed away upon admission.

The deceased was identified as a 52-year-old fisherman.
