Why not investigate Ministers? - Rev. Fr. Jude Krishantha

COLOMBO (News 1st);  Rev. Fr. Jude Krishantha, the Media Director of the Archdiocese of Colombo on Friday (10) visited the Criminal Investigations Department to lodge a complaint seeking to expedite the investigations related to the April 21st attacks.

Rev. Fr. Jude Krishantha, speaking to media stated that the Cabinet Minister Prasanna Ranatunga had levelled an allegation stating that Former President Maithripala Sirisena should take responsibility for the April 21st attacks, and legal action should be taken against him.

Speaking further, the Reverend stated that he visited the CID to lodge a complaint to investigate this allegation as in previously, the CID took steps to question Rev. Fathers for many hours in the past for minor statements that they have made with regard to the Easter Sunday Attacks.

"We hope the CID will investigate the complaint that we lodged today, " he mentioned.
