Chopper Carrying Indian Chief of Defence Staff Crashes In Tamil Nadu

(NDTV) An Army chopper has crashed in Tamil Nadu with Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat, his staff and family members on board, news agency ANI has said quoting sources.

Four people are dead and two have survived. Details are not known so far.

The crash took place in the Nilgiris, shortly after the Mi-series chopper took off from the army base in Sulur.
