No power cuts today: CEB

COLOMBO (News 1st); The General Manager of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that there will be no power cuts today (05) due to low demand for electricity.
The Ministry of Power and Energy announced yesterday (04) that there will be a power outage in some parts of the country between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The Media Spokesperson of the Ministry, Sulakshana Jayawardena stated that the power supply will have to be suspended until the Norochcholai power plant is fully operational again.
However, the power cut, which is subject to a maximum of one hour, will not take place today (05).
