MOH to test samples of unvaccinated COVID-19 positive passengers

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health has reached a decision to test the biological samples of non-vaccinated COVID-19 patients coming from abroad.

The Deputy Director General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath speaking to News 1st in this regard, stated that the decision was reached in view of the risk posed by the newly identified OMICRON variant.
