Zaharan's wife indicted at Kalmunai High Court

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Attorney General on Thursday (2) filed indictments against Abdul Cader Fathima Hadia, the wife of terrorist Zaharan Hasham who led suicide bomb attacks on the 21st of April 2019, the Easter Sunday Attacks.

She is charged with withholding information from Sri Lanka Police with regard to explosives manufactured and kept in the possession of Sara Jasmine alias Pulasthini Rajendran from 21st to 26th April 2019.

The Attorney General charged her with committing a criminal offense by concealing information from Sri Lanka Police on the explosives, despite having information on the matter.

Zaharan Hashim's wife is currently being held in remand at the Colombo Remand Prison, the State Counsel appearing for the Attorney General's Department told the court.

High Court Judge J. Troxy considering these facts, ordered for the suspect to be produced in the court on the 10th of January 2022.
