COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested two men wanted for murder on 27th November 2021.

Police said that the suspects had shot and stabbed a man in the Weeraketiya Police Jurisdiction on the 20th of November 2021.

Police first arrested a 29-year-old male from Debokkawa East and upon interrogation, police officers located a foreign manufactured live hand grenade, a blood-stained shirt worn by the suspect when committing the murder, and a motorcycle.

The other suspect is a 33-year-old male from Kavantissapura and based on the interrogation, police recovered a locally manufactured firearm, One 12 Bore round from Thekkawatte.
