COLOMBO (News 1st); A search operation has been launched for a fisherman who went missing after falling from a multi-day fishing trawler.

The fisherman had gone to sea with 6 others on 9th November from the Magalla fishing harbor.

The Navy and the Police have launched a search operation in the area where the fisherman fell.

The missing person has been identified as a 25-year old resident of Rathgama.
