Guidelines for vaccination of people over 20 with congenital disorders, issued

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health has recommended a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for people with congenital disorders, who are over the age of 20. The relevant vaccination program is scheduled to begin today (20). According to the Ministry of Health, the vaccine will be made available to people over the age of 20 with weakened immune systems, chronic kidney disease, cancer and other illnesses including those who have undergone bone marrow transplants. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be administered as the third dose. The relevant guidelines for the vaccination program has been issued as such;
