COLOMBO (News 1st); The health sector points out that there is a rapid increase in the rate of children hospitalized due to Dengue.

According to the Health Ministry, there are currently 20 children receiving in-house treatment for Dengue at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH).

Director at the LRH, Dr. G. Wijesuriya warned that the spread of Dengue could further increase due to the prevailing weather as well.
