COVID-19: 3rd dose for over 60 population from Wednesday (17)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka will start administering the 3rd vaccine against COVID-19 to those over the age of 60 in the Western Province, Southern Province as well as the Anuradhapura and Ampara districts from Wednesday (17).

State Minister (Professor) Channa Jayasumana told News 1st that those who completed the three months after obtaining the second vaccine dose will be administered with the 3rd vaccine dose.

At the same time, Sri Lanka completed the vaccination for 1 million school children, said the State Minister.
