COLOMBO (News 1st); A Tunisian passenger was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for the possession of cocaine.

Customs Spokesperson & Deputy Customs Director Sudantha Silva told News 1st that the suspect concealed more than 4 kilograms of cocaine in his luggage.

The street value of the cocaine is over Rs. 180 Million and the suspect along with the narcotics were handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.

The suspect had reached Sri Lanka from Brazil via Doha
