Three arrested for unauthorised video recording of Victoria Dam

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three suspects, including a female have been arrested for capturing video footage of the Victoria Dam and the 4th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment, using a drone, without obtaining proper permission.

The suspects were arrested by the Teldeniya Police based on a tip off received from a group of officers of the 4th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

The suspects have been identified as residents of Gothatuwa and Kelaniya areas, and they are due to be produced before the Teldeniya Magistrate today (14).
