EXTREME WEATHER: 12 dead & over 28,000 people affected

COLOMBO (News 1st); 12 people have died as a result of heavy rains, floods, and landslides over the past few days.

According to the Disaster Management Center, 28,263 people from over 7,000 families in 17 districts were affected.
