Massive Protest in Mawanella as Teachers & Principals demand arrest of local politicos

COLOMBO (News 1st); Teachers and Principals organized a massive protest opposite the Mawanella Police on Sunday (7), demanding action be taken against local politicians who crashed a protest by fellow teachers recently.

The Teachers and Principals Union condemned the failure of Sri Lanka Police to arrest the perpetrators.

Trade Union Leader Joseph Stalin said the Police will be reporting facts to court on Monday (8).
