Special program to vaccinate the homeless, launched

COLOMBO (News 1st); As special program has been launched to vaccinate homeless persons in the Western Province, who have not yet been vaccinated. Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon said 100 such people have been identified, who have not received any dose of a vaccine as of yet. Meanwhile, it has come to light, that around 70,000 citizens over the age of 60 have not yet been vaccinated, during an island-wide survey conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
