State Minister Channa warns of another COVID-19 mutation

COLOMBO (News 1st); State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana warns of a mutation of the COVID-19 virus that is immune to the vaccine. He says that the A-30 mutation of the virus is immune to even the best vaccines, including Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Prof. Jayasumana highlighted that American and European countries have also directed their attention towards this particular COVID-19 mutation.
