Government stands for its citizens: Namal

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government represents its citizens, said Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa on Sunday (31). He allged that those who championed the cause to reject fertilizer are the very people who are now demanding for chemical fertilizer. Reminding that as a Government the ruling party needs to ensure that all farmers are protected, Rajapaksa stated that the program to distribute organic fertilizer has been successfully implemented in several areas. He added that the Government has even promised compensation for the farmers in an event of a harvest shortage.
