Doctor arrested for prescribing drugs in violation of accepted norms

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Police Special Task Force arrested a doctor for prescribing drugs in violation of the medical rules and regulations.

The arrest was made in Panadura and STF personnel recovered more than 20,000 pills from the possession of the 50 year old suspects.

In addition, 15 young men who were present purchase the pills were also arrested and all the suspects were handed over to the Panadura (North) Police for onward investigations.
