Final rites of Ven. Welamitiyawe Kusaladhamma Thero to be held with State Honors

COLOMBO (News 1st); The final rites of the Ven. Dr. Welamitiyawe Kusaladhamma Thero, who passed away last night (27) will be conducted with State Honors, the Department of Government Information says. The final rites of Ven. Dr. Kusaladhamma Thero will be conducted with State Honors on the instructions of the President and the Prime Minister. Ven. Dr. Kusaladhamma Thero was engaged in religious and social services for a long period of time and did a yeoman service for the betterment of students. In addition, Ven. Kusaladhamma Thero also held the position of the Chairman of the All Ceylon Sasanarakshaka Balamandala
