AmCham Sri Lanka, Standard Chartered to Host SeCure 2026 Cybersecurity Forum

COLOMBO (News 1st): The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham Sri Lanka), in partnership with Standard Chartered Sri Lanka, will host SeCure 2026: Strengthening Organizations Against Tomorrow's Threats on 4 August 2026 in Colombo.

The executive breakfast forum will bring together senior business leaders, cybersecurity professionals, policymakers and technology experts to discuss the growing cyber threats facing organizations and strategies to strengthen resilience.

The event will feature Chris Fleming, Executive Director and Head of Client & Third-Party Security at Standard Chartered, who will deliver the keynote address. 

Drawing on his experience leading cybersecurity programmes at one of the world's leading international banks, Fleming will share global best practices on cyber resilience, governance and risk management.

His session will also include an interactive exercise, allowing participants to respond to evolving cyber scenarios and test their decision-making and collaboration in real time.

A panel discussion will follow, featuring Chris Fleming, Roger Norton, Executive Director and Head of Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered Sri Lanka, and Dinuka Perera, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of LankaPay. The discussion, moderated by Chinthaka Dunuwille of Microsoft Sri Lanka and an AmCham SL Board Member, will examine recent cyber and fraud incidents, governance expectations and practical approaches to strengthening organizational resilience.

The forum is expected to attract around 150 senior decision-makers, including CEOs, board directors, CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, legal professionals, risk managers and policymakers.

AmCham Sri Lanka said the initiative reflects its partnership with Standard Chartered to help strengthen cyber resilience across Sri Lanka's corporate sector by connecting local business leaders with international expertise and practical insights.
